BackgroundLogical Gov: The why

US politics are broken; ruled by fear and rhetoric. Logical Gov aims to unite through less contentious #principles guiding debate and policy
Principle:Fuel Democracy

Empower voters, not parties: Non-partisan primaries with top 5 advancing to general elections can break gridlock and unleash democracy
Principle:Decentralize

America thrives as a federation. Let states govern domestic issues, especially polarizing ones, to foster unity and balance
Principle:Get a second opinion

Bold goals need realism: get bipartisan, expert input on scale, speed, and feasibility and if concerns exist, test policy locally first
Principle:Protect income

Income is earned through effort and time and should similarly be protected as a constitutional right, requiring a 3/4 majority to change
Principle:Make tax simple

Taxes should be simple and consistent to prevent waste and abuse - said simply, taxes should have low rates and no breaks (deductions)
Principle:Spend within means

No nation or person should consistently spend more than they earn. Debt has its place, but unchecked growth risks catastrophe
Principle:Let freedom ring

Real communication, within the law, must trump feelings and political correctness. Suppressing speech erodes freedom & diversity of thought
Principle:Defend the nation

Attacks on our way of life are attacks on America. We must have the resolve & ability to defend against physical, cyber, & economic threats
Principle:Better together

The US doesn’t have all the answers. Global issues need global solutions. Fix broken organizations—acting alone is costly and risky
Principle:Walk the walk

Politicians serve the people, not themselves. Demand honesty, accountability, and leaders who live with us, not above us
Principle:Provide a scoreboard

Hold politicians accountable: Demand clear objectives, success criteria, and timelines upfront to ensure transparency and measurable success
BackgroundOur call to action

Reunite America: Base policy on shared principles, fuel debates with facts, and demand politicians compromise for logical governance
